Our aim is to serve the freshest, simplest local food, cooked well.
Please see our sample menus and taster board below. This is a sample menu, which changes daily, sometimes twicw daily; as one dish sells out it is replaced by another, if you would like a copy of todays menu, either email us or telephone and we will send it to you or describe it over the phone.
Our cooking style is traditional, simple country cooking. Rustic yet refined, simple yet skilful, cooked with passion.
We aim to help the local, artisan producers and farmers, often using the cuts and produce that others do not have the time or the skill to prepare. Using local producers who love and care about what they do, their products will shine through in our dishes.
Our dishes will bring back the honesty, without the pretension, of good hearty pub cooking.
